Jam
Amsterdam
Do you have a passion for solving social challenges to improve lives? Join us to in the second edition of the #GlobalGoalsJam in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where local innovators and creatives will join teams around the world in designing actionable interventions toward achieving the Global Goals.
You are invited to expand your network and learn design methods from Digital Society School, develop and share your ideas in real-time with other participants from Santiago, Amman, Fukuoka, Rio de Janeiro, Amsterdam and beyond!
During the 2015 Social Good Summit, 193 world leaders committed to achieving 17 Sustainable Development Goals by year 2030. As an initiative of the United Nations Development Programme and Digital Society School, the Global Goals Jam seeks to design realistic, actionable interventions for these goals.
We will work with local industry partners that provide a challenge for you to work on. You’ll work in a team and will be supported by the Digital Transformation Designers of the DSS. You will learn how to use a making process as research, to create tangible objects that generate new and surprising conversations and work together in a team with people of different backgrounds. You can also connect with the other locations across the globe and find out how they approach our global themes from a global perspective.
Keep an eye on this website for updates on local challenges!
