Global Goals Jam Kyoto 2019

Global Goals Jam Kyoto is a 2 day design workshop consisting of short design sprints. It aims to answer questions, solving challenges related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Creative teams, with designers, developers and Jammers from the local community will work together using a tailored toolkit. Together, we will create interventions aimed at short term targets in support of the long term goals.

 

The themes of the workshop are 1) Materials and Circularity and 2) Migration in Kyoto. The solutions from this workshop will be shared on the internet under the creative commons licenses. The event is co-organized by the United Nations Development Program and Digital Society School.

※ The after party will be organized after the program on 15th Sept. The participation fee is required.

Requirement

– participating whole 2day program
– one of the following skills:
Graphic Design, Sketch, Video Making, Photography, DIY, Digital Fabrication, Field Research
Product Design, Audio Editing, Web Development, Programming, Design Thinking, Concept Making
※ The program is mainly facilitated in Japanese. However we will offer supports in English if needed.
